Text Delivery System (TDS) maintained by ICID since 2000 acts as a virtual library for the benefit of irrigation and drainage professionals around the world. It stores difficult-to-obtain, low circulation reports and papers and makes them available free of cost. Special emphasis is given to grey literature, not covered under copyright restrictions.
The new and extended possibilities with the Internet technology, has now made it possible to include graphics and text simultaneously. Taking advantage of the new technology, ICID is upgrading the TDS into an Integrated Library Management System (ILMS). The online database will be in addition to (1) Books and (2) Articles, includes (3) CD-ROMs, Journals, Maps, Video / DVDs etc. The entire ICID Technical Library Catalogue is also available in electronic format for online searching through keywords, author, and title etc. All the available grey literature is listed under Articles section and can be searched by using keywords, title, author, ISBN, ISSN, and publisher.
